Introducing Osceola Chiropractor Dr Donald P. Warren

Dr. Don Warren

Coming from a family of "chiropractic sceptics," most of my friends would not have guessed that I would have chose to become a chiropractor. Originally, I had set my focus on becoming a medical doctor or dentist. As I discovered more about health and chiropractic, I decided to become a chiropractic physician.

My mom had suffered with severe headaches on one side of her face and I remember that she would go to bed suffering from the severe pain.  She searched for help from a variety of good medical doctors, but only received drugs which did not seem to help her headaches and gave her many side effects.  Finally, her friend from church convinced her to see a chiropractor.  Much to our surprise, my mom had remarkable results within days of her first few adjustments.

Personally, I played soccer  and snow skied competively in high school and college. I would see a chiropractor to help me from various sports injuries and saw the benefits of getting back to my game more quickly.

After researching and visiting a number of the top-rated chiropractic colleges, I found I wanted the well-rounded health care approach that National College of Chiropractic offered.  It was known for offerring one of the most thorough medical and chiropractic training programs in the country.  It also had one of the highest quality clinical internship programs and has been a leading force in the chiropractic college community.

It is OUR GOAL to meet YOUR health GOALS.  We feel it is our responsibility to help you discover the source of your pain and health problems, to educate you about your health, offer you choices or options to deal with your problems.  Some of our patients only want pain relief and a quick patch-up for their problems, while other patients really desire to fix their health and spinal problems as near normal as possible.

I have been married to my wife, Lynnea, for over 16 years and we have 3 children ages 7-13.  The kids are active and involved in various activities and God has made each one of them so unique and special.  Megan loves soccer and video games. Carissa is our little ballerina who loves to dance and play with her barbie dolls.  Michael is all boy and loves to wrestle.  We enjoy camping and being together as a family.

I enjoy playing golf, hunting, and fishing.  Lynnea and I are very involved at our church, Oak Creek Community Church, and our faith in God is a big part of our lives.  I have also been highly involved with the Mishawaka Optimist, Osceola Business Association, and the Baugo Lions.

My entire family and I get adjusted on a regular basis.  We have found that it helps us to not only feel better, but helps us all to be much healthier.  In fact when the kids aren't feeling well or have a cold, they usually ask me for an adjustment.

I like to jog, bicycle, and work-out.  As a family, we attempt to eat healthier foods including organic fruits, vegetable, and meats.  We try to limit our sugar intake and have eliminated hydrogenated/trans fats from our diets.

Dr Don Asks some important questions of interest to Osceola residents - Chiropractor Osceola Dr Don Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Osceola and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
Is average normal or is normal average?
Every chiropractor knows that so-called "normal" is merely an average. What's normal for you may not be normal for anyone else. So the chiropractic approach to better health is to tailor our approach to the unique needs of each of our Osceola patients.
